11 AAC 93.110 - Hearings
(a) If objections are received during the
public comment period, the commissioner will, in his or her discretion, hold a
hearing on the objections.
(b) The
commissioner will, in his or her discretion, hold a hearing to acquire
additional information on an application if the commissioner determines that
the water rights of prior appropriators or the public interest might be
adversely affected or if the commissioner determines that additional
information is required to rule on the application.
(c) The hearing will be public and a record
will be kept.
