Ariz. Admin. Code § R20-6-1703 - Conduct of Examinations
A. Upon
determining that an examination should be conducted, the Director or the
Director's designee shall issue an examination warrant appointing one or more
examiners to perform the examination and instructing them as to the scope of
the examination.
B. Nothing
contained in this Article shall be construed to limit the Director's authority
to terminate or suspend any examination in order to pursue other legal or
regulatory action pursuant to the insurance laws of this state or to pursue
such action concurrent with the examination.
C. The Director may disclose the content of
an examination report, preliminary examination report or results, or any matter
relating thereto, to the insurance department of any other state or country or
to law enforcement officials of this or any other state or agency of the
federal government at any time. Prior to making such disclosure, the Director
may require such other department or office to agree in writing to hold as
confidential the examination report, preliminary examination report or results
or any matter relating thereto until such time as the examination report,
preliminary examination report or results or matter relating thereto are made
public by the Director.
