002.01.22 Ark. Code R. § 009 - 26.30 Possession of Certain Live Carp Prohibited
It is illegal to possess live Silver Carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix), Bighead Carp (Hypophthalmichthys nobilis), or Black Carp (Mylopharyngodon piceus). If caught, these fish must be euthanized immediately.
EXCEPTION: Persons possessing a valid Conditional Species Possession Permit or an Unlisted Aquaculture Species Permit for one or more of these species may possess such species alive.
PENALTY: Class 1
