Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 14, § 27.70 - Trout in the Ocean

(a) Methods of take: The trout must voluntarily take the bait or lure in its mouth.

(b) Limit: Three, except the take of steelhead rainbow trout in the ocean is prohibited.
