Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 14, § 28.15 - California Halibut

(a) The following restrictions apply to the recreational taking of California halibut:
(1) Daily Bag and Possession Limit:
(A) In waters south of a line extending due west magnetic from Point Sur, Monterey County: Five
(B) In waters north of a line extending due west magnetic from Point Sur, Monterey County: Two
(2) Minimum size: Twenty-two inches total length.

A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 2-28-2024 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.
5. Amendment of subsection (a) and NOTE refiled 2-22-2024 as an emergency; operative 2/29/2024 pursuant to Government Code section 11346.1(d) (Register 2024, No. 8). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 5-29-2024 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.
6. Certificate of Compliance as to 2-22-2024 order, including amendment of section heading, section and Note, transmitted to OAL 5-8-2024 and filed 6-20-2024; amendments effective 6/20/2024 pursuant to Government Code section 11343.4(b)(3) (Register 2024, No. 25).
