Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 16, § 853 - Renewal Application Form
(a) The Registrar shall mail to each
licensee, prior to the expiration of the license, a renewal form with complete
instructions for renewal of the license.
(b) A renewal application and fee must be
postmarked or hand delivered to the Board's headquarters office on or before
the expiration date of the license. Failure to comply with the requirements of
this subsection shall result in the renewal application being deemed
delinquent.
(c) An incomplete
renewal application shall be returned to the licensee by the Registrar with an
explanation of the reasons for its rejection. The licensee shall resubmit the
completed renewal application to the Board, postmarked or hand delivered to the
Board's headquarters office on or before the expiration date of the license.
Failure to comply with this subsection shall result in the expiration of the
license as provided in Section 7140 of the Code.
(d) An expired license shall not be renewed
until any accrued delinquency fee has been paid.
