Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 2, § 11099 - Office of Compliance Programs
(a) Creation and Authority. The Civil Rights Department (CRD) is responsible for the administration of policies, the implementation of standards, and the enforcement of the rules and regulations set forth in this subchapter. CRD has created the Office of Compliance Programs (OCP) to carry out these responsibilities. The OCP will operate under the procedures established in this subchapter as well as under other procedures of the Council as set out in this chapter.
(b) Administrator. The OCP will operate under the direction of an Administrator of Compliance Programs, who shall be appointed by and be responsible to the Director of the Department. The Administrator will have direct responsibility for the appointment of staff and the organization and operation of the OCP consistent with the terms of the Act and the provisions of this subchapter.
