Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 2, § 17032 - Recruitment and Selection of Program Employees
(a) The Department shall ensure that the
availability of Program employee positions is advertised for a sufficient
period of time and in a manner that provides for a qualified candidate pool
based on the level of the position, the required qualifications, and the
availability of qualified applicants in the appropriate labor market.
(b) The advertisement shall include a
description of the duties of the position, the position compensation, required
minimum qualifications, a description of the selection process, and
instructions on when and how to submit an application.
(c) If applications will be accepted for
shorter a period of time than the full advertising period, the advertisement
shall state the date, time, and manner that applications will be accepted.
Applications must be accepted on the last day of the advertising period or a
date subsequent to the close of the advertising period.
