Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 50079.5 - Publicly Operated Community Residence
(a) Publicly operated community residence
means a facility designed and planned to serve no more than 16 residents which
is actually serving 16 or fewer residents. The facility provides food and
shelter and must provide some additional services such as:
(1) Social services.
(2) Help with personal activities.
(3) Training in socialization and life
skills.
(b) Excluded from
this definition are:
(1) Residential
facilities located on the grounds or immediately adjacent to any large
institution or multi-purpose complex.
(2) Educational or vocational training
facilities.
(3) Correctional or
holding facilities for persons detained under the penal system.
(4) Medical treatment
facilities.
