Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 51039 - Continued or Further Hearings
(a) A hearing officer may continue a formal
hearing to another time or place if deemed advisable or upon request and a
showing of good cause.
(1) Written notice of
the time and place of the continued formal hearing, except as provided herein,
shall be in accordance with this article.
(2) Oral notice of the time and place of the
continued formal hearing may be given to each party present at the formal
hearing. Such oral notice shall be confirmed in writing by the hearing officer
subsequent to the formal hearing.
(b) The hearing officer may order a further
formal hearing prior to the decision, if the hearing officer deems advisable or
on a showing of good cause. Notice shall be given in accordance with Section
51025.
