Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 54415 - Medical Review
(a)
Each adult day health care center shall be reviewed by a Department of Health
medical review team at least annually. The review shall include but is not
limited to assessment of:
(1) The
participant's current medical, psycho-social and functional status.
(2) The appropriateness of care
provided.
(3) The quality of care
provided.
(4) The necessity for the
services rendered.
(5) Staffing
requirements.
(6) The system for
participant care.
(7) Medical
records.
(8) Professional review
system and reports.
(9) Grievances
relating to health care and their disposition.
(10) Procedures for controlling the
utilization of services.
