Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 70131 - Voluntary Suspension of License or Licensed Beds
(a) Upon written request, a licensee may
request that his license or licensed beds be put in suspense. The Department
may approve the request for a period not to exceed 12 months.
(b) Any license or portion thereof which ha
been temporarily suspended by the Department pursuant to this section shall
remain subject to all renewal requirements of an active license, including the
payment of license renewal fees, during the period of temporary
suspension.
(c) Any license
suspended pursuant to this section may be reinstated by the Department within
12 months of the date of suspension upon receipt of an application and evidence
showing compliance with licensing operational requirements in effect at the
time of reinstatement. If the license is not reinstated within the 12 month
period, the license shall expire automatically and shall not be subject to
reinstatement.
