Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 73719 - Review Procedures
(a) If a licensee does not wish to contest a
citation, he may transmit to the Department, within four business days, after
the issuance of the citation the sum of $1,000 for each class "A" violation and
the sum of $50 for each class "B" violation.
(b) If a licensee desires to contest a
citation, the assessment of a proposed civil penalty, or the date specified for
correction of a violation, he shall, within four business days after service of
the citation or assessment of the proposed civil penalty, as the case may be,
serve upon the district administrator, or his designee, either personally or by
registered or certified mail, the licensee's written notice that:
(1) An informal conference be scheduled to
review the matter with the district administrator or his designee; or
(2) The case be presented to the Superior
Court for appropriate action.
