Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 76391 - Pharmaceutical Services-Policies and Procedures
(a) There shall be written policies and
procedures for safe and effective distribution, control and use of drugs
developed by the client care policy committee. The committee shall monitor
implementation of the policies and procedures and make recommendations for
improvement.
(b) There shall be a
written policy governing the self-administration of drugs, whether prescribed
or not.
