Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 76895 - Pharmaceutical Services-Policies and Procedures
(a) There shall be written policies and
procedures for safe and effective distribution, control and use of drugs
developed or approved by the registered nurse and pharmacist.
(b) There shall be a written policy governing
the self-administration of drugs, whether prescribed or not.
