Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 78089 - Psychiatrist
(a) Psychiatrist
means a person who is licensed as a physician and surgeon by the Medical Board
of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California and who meets any
of the following:
(1) Is certified or
eligible for certification as a psychiatrist by the American Board of
Psychiatry and Neurology,
(2) Is
certified or eligible for certification as a psychiatrist by the American
Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry,
(3) Has specialized training and experience
in psychiatry.
