Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 8, § 214.1 - [Operative 4/1/2024] Equal Opportunity Orientation and Periodic Information Sessions
(a) Each
apprenticeship program in the building and construction trades must conduct
orientation and periodic information sessions for apprentices, instructors, and
employees of the apprenticeship program to inform and remind such individuals
of the apprenticeship program's equal employment opportunity policy.
(b) Orientation for instructors and employees
of the apprenticeship program must occur within the first two weeks of
employment.
(c) Orientation for
apprentices of the apprenticeship program must occur no later than five
business days after the apprentice is registered.
(d) Periodic information sessions must be
conducted for apprentices, instructors, and employees of the apprenticeship
program once each calendar year.
