Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 8, § 6998 - Hydraulic Monitor
(a) A safe,
unobstructed working place shall be provided for the monitor
operator.
(b) A positive safety
latch shall be installed for securing the deflecting lever on all monitors. The
deflecting lever shall be secured at all times when the monitor is not being
moved by hand.
