12 CCR 2510-1-10.409.2 - Material Aid Services Provider Responsibilities and Requirements [Rev. eff. 12/1/10]
A. Information and
assistance providers shall:
1. Maintain
current information about opportunities, benefits, and services available to
individuals and their caregivers;
2. Refer individuals and their caregivers to
services using most current information;
3. Employ, where feasible, specially trained
staff to assess the needs of individuals and their caregivers, provide
information and assist in utilization of opportunities and services;
and,
4. In a PSA where a majority
of older adults speak a language other than English as their principal
language, information and assistance service shall also be provided in that
language.
B. All
providers shall keep such records and information as necessary to document the
services provided to consumers receiving care.
