12 CCR 2510-1-10.415.2 - Transportation Services Provider Responsibilities and Requirements [Rev. eff. 12/1/10]
All providers shall operate in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local fire, health, safety, sanitation, and other standards prescribed in law or regulations.
All providers shall keep such records and information as necessary to document the services provided to older adults receiving care.
A. Except private vehicles, all
transportation providers rendering services to OAA older adults shall have all
licenses, approvals, or certifications required by federal, state, and local
law or regulation.
B. All
transportation providers not requiring licensure by the Public Utilities
Commission (PUC) shall ensure that their drivers, vehicles, and auxiliary
equipment meet all applicable regulations and standards for passenger and
vehicle safety, as well as all applicable safety inspection and maintenance
requirements, and shall comply with the State's mandated minimum insurance
coverage.
