12 CCR 2518-1-30.230 - ELIGIBILITY
A. Adult Protective
Services (APS) receives and investigates reports of mistreatment and
self-neglect and provides protective services to at-risk adults:
1. Who need services and/or ongoing
protection due to a report of actual or suspected mistreatment or self-neglect;
and/or,
2. For whom the county
department has been appointed guardian and/or conservator, or has been
designated as representative payee; and/or,
3. Who are residents of long term care
facilities, such as nursing homes and assisted living residences, who must
relocate due to the closure of the facility and:
a. The county department has been appointed
guardian and/or conservator; or,
b.
They are in need of protective services due to a lack of case management and/or
assistance from any other reliable source.
4. Without regard to income, resources, or
lawful presence.
