Basis: The authority for the promulgation of these
rules and regulations by the Colorado Medical Board ("Board") is set forth in
sections 24-4-103,
12-20-204(1), and
12-240-106(1)(a),
C.R.S.
B.
Purpose: The purpose of these rules and regulations is
to establish and clarify requirements surrounding the reporting of criminal
convictions that constitute unprofessional conduct pursuant to section
12-240-121, C.R.S., including but
not limited to sections
12-240-121(1)(b), (1)(d), (1)(r) and
(1)(s), C.R.S.
