Conn. Agencies Regs. § 15-41-19 - Alteration or extension of an existing airport

No person shall make any alteration to, or extension of, any existing licensed airport without first having secured approval for such alteration or extention from the department. Alteration or extensions, as used herein, shall include any of the following:

(1) Any material change in length, width, direction or surface of runways or landing strips;
(2) construction or installation of any building or other obstruction within one hundred fifty feet of the longitudinal center line of a landing strip;
(3) planting or permitting any natural growth or placement of any other obstacle on the property subject to control by the airport, which would extend above any approach slope, transition slope or turning zone;
(4) any change in location of the lighting facilities;
(5) any change in the listed facilities of a commercial airport.
