Conn. Agencies Regs. § 16-11-37 - Change in gas characteristics
(a) Any change in
the heating value, utilization pressures, or other characteristics of the gas
which might impair the safe, efficient utilization of the gas as a fuel in the
customer's appliances shall not be made unless the gas company makes the
necessary adjustments to the customer's appliances.
(b) In the event of such change, the gas
company shall give adequate notice to the customers of the pending changes and
shall conduct the adjustment program without charge and with a minimum of
inconvenience to the customers, provided any change in heating value shall have
the approval of the commission as set forth in section
16-11-14.
