Conn. Agencies Regs. § 19-24-6 - Personnel monitoring
(a)
(1) Each owner of an installation or mobile
source shall supply appropriate personnel monitoring equipment to and shall
require the use of such equipment by:
(A) Each
employee and other individual who receives, or is likely to receive, a dose in
any calendar quarter in excess of twenty-five per cent of the applicable value
specified in subsection (a) of section
19-24-5;
(B) Each employee and any other individual
who is under eighteen years of age who receives or is likely to receive a dose
in any calendar quarter in excess of five per cent of the applicable value
specified in said subsection (a);
(C) Each individual who enters a high
radiation area.
(b) Each owner of
an installation or mobile source shall maintain records showing the radiation
exposures of all individuals for whom personnel monitoring is required. The
doses entered on the records shall be for periods of time not exceeding one
calendar quarter. Personnel monitoring records maintained in accordance with
provisions of this section shall be available for inspection by the
department's representatives upon request.
