Conn. Agencies Regs. § 22a-209-16 - Fees for transfer of a permit to construct or a permit to operate a solid waste facility
(a)
Authority. This section is adopted under the authority of
subdivision (a) (10) of Section
22a-6
of the General Statutes and Section
22a-208a
of the General Statutes.
(b)
Transfer fee.
(1) The fee for
transfer of a permit to construct or operate a solid waste facility shall be
$500.00. The fee shall be submitted simultaneously with the request for
transfer, and the permit shall not be transferred prior to payment of the fee
and approval of the transfer by the Commissioner, as required by Section
22a-209-4
of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies. The fee provided in this
section shall be non-refundable.
(2) Within thirty (30) days after issuance of
notice from the Commissioner that the actual cost of reviewing and acting on a
request has substantially exceeded the amount of the fee as specified in this
section, the applicant shall submit the difference between the fee which it has
paid and the actual costs to the Commissioner.
(3) The transfer fee shall be paid by
certified check or money order payable to the Department of Environmental
Protection. The certified check or money order shall state on its face, "Solid
Waste Transfer Fee."
