Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 513-5-1-.19 - Creditable Service for Out-of-State Employment

Teachers Retirement System of Georgia members may establish retirement credit for employment under the out-of-state service provisions of TRS law, only if such employment, had it been rendered in Georgia, would have made the person eligible for membership in the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia.

Original Rule entitled "Creditable Service for Out-of-State Employment" was adopted as Emergency Rule 513-5-1-0.1-.19. Filed February 9, 1988; effective January 27, 1988, the date of adoption, to remain in effect for a period of 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule, as specified by the Agency. Amended: Emergency Rule repealed and a new Rule of the same title adopted. Filed March 25, 1988; effective April 14, 1988.
