Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 560-10-30-.08 - Unconventional Motor Vehicle or Unconventional Motorcycle
(1) "Unconventional" motor vehicle or
"Unconventional" motorcycle is any motor vehicle or motorcycle that is
manufactured and not in compliance with:
(a)
Chapter 8 Title 40 of the Code, relating to equipment and inspection of motor
vehicles;
(b) Applicable federal
motor vehicle safety standards issued pursuant to
49 U.S.C.A. Section 30101
et seq., unless the
United States Customs Service or the United States Department of Transportation
has certified that such motor vehicle or motorcycle complies with such
applicable federal standards;
(c)
Applicable federal emissions standards; or
(d) Does not qualify as an Assembled motor
vehicle or Assembled motorcycle.
(2) An Unconventional motor vehicle or
Unconventional motorcycle shall not be issued a certificate of title or
registered by the State of Georgia.
