Haw. Code R. § 11-219-10 - Display of permit and presentation of identification card

(a) The disability parking permit shall be displayed in a manner that it may be viewed from the front and rear of the vehicle by hanging it from the front windshield rearview mirror at all times when parking. When a placard cannot be hung securely from the rearview mirror, the placard shall be displayed on the dashboard.

(b) The person with a disability operating or being transported in the vehicle being parked or left standing shall carry a current identification card and present it to any enforcement officer upon request,
