Haw. Code R. § 16-79-15 - Contested case hearing

Any person whose application for a license or permit, or whose application for the renewal, reinstatement, or reactivation of a license or permit has been denied by the board shall be entitled to a contested case hearing after notice of the denial provided that the request for a contested case hearing shall be conducted pursuant to chapter 16-201, the rules of practice and procedure of the department of commerce and consumer affairs, and is filed with the board within sixty days of the date of the board's notice of the refusal or denial.
