Haw. Code R. § 16-85-35 - Record keeping
(a) In order for a licensee to obtain credit
for CME activities in category 1, the sponsoring organization shall:
(1) Maintain accurate records of the names of
all licensees attending or participating;
(2) Record accurately in such records the
exact number of hours of such attendance or participation;
(3) Make available to the licensee who has
attended or participated in any CME activities under the auspices of the
sponsor, or to anyone designated by the sponsor, the records or pertinent parts
thereof, requested by the licensee for examination or audit; and
(4) Maintain records in compliance with all
applicable accreditation requirements.
(b) Licensees shall be responsible for
maintaining their own CME records, either through applying for the PRA,
maintaining the records themselves, or contracting with an agency to do
so.
