Haw. Code R. § 16-90-42 - Grounds for disciplinary sanctions
Violation of the following standards of conduct shall result in revocation or suspension of a nursing home administrator's license:
(1) The nursing home administrator shall not
alter in any way the physician's order for any patient's or resident's medical
or therapeutic care unless the orders are hazardous to the patient or resident,
in which case the physician shall be immediately notified;
(2) The nursing home administrator shall not
defraud any Federal, State, local, or social agency, business or individual in
the operation of the nursing home;
(3) The nursing home administrator shall not
wilfully depart from the Federal, State, and local requirements and regulations
related to the operation and maintenance of the nursing home;
(4) The nursing home administrator shall not
fraudulently advertise the services of the nursing home; and
(5) The nursing home administrator shall not
misrepresent material facts for the renewal of the administrator's
license.
