Haw. Code R. § 16-91-16 - Demand for hearing
Any person whose application for a certificate of licensure or certificate of dispensing optician or whose application for the reinstatement of a certificate of licensure or certificate of dispensing optician has been denied by the board shall be entitled to a hearing after notice, provided that a demand for a hearing is filed with the board within sixty days of receipt of the letter informing the applicant of the denial of the application.
