Haw. Code R. § 16-98-13 - Examination and licensure

(a) An application for examination and licensure may be filed by a person holding a doctoral degree from an approved program or an accredited institution; provided the person holding a doctoral degree from an accredited institution has also completed the required number of hours of internship and postdoctoral experience or holds a diplomate certificate in good standing.
(b) The application shall be filed at least seventy-five days before the examination which is regularly conducted by the board in April and October, and shall be accompanied by the application fee which shall not be refunded,
(c) The board shall determine the sufficiency of qualifications of applicants for examination and licensure.
