Haw. Code R. § 19-104-19 - Specific oversize moves

(a) Permits for prefabricated building forms generally shall not be issued. Form sections constructed away from the job site should be designed and built in such manner that they can be transported within legal limits.
(b) Permits for prefabricated buildings, building sections or panels may be issued provided the width of the load, including building eaves if the eaves are less than 10 feet above the roadway, does not exceed 12 feet and provided that other dimension limitations are not exceeded.
(c) When a vehicle which is within legal size is disabled upon a highway, it may be towed from the highway to the nearest repair station without an overlength permit even though the total length of the towing vehicle plus the disabled vehicle exceeds the legal length.
