Idaho Admin. Code r. 24.03.01.010 - DEFINITION

01. Chiropractic Assistant. A chiropractic assistant is an individual functioning in a dependent relationship with a supervising chiropractic physician in the performance of any chiropractic practice. (3-28-23)
02. Chiropractic Intern. A chiropractic intern is defined as any individual who is presently enrolled in a school of chiropractic and is qualified to practice as an intern as established by the approved chiropractic college that the individual attends and who will function in a dependent relationship with a supervising chiropractic physician in the performance of chiropractic practice. 03. Direct Personal Supervision. Direct Personal Supervision means that the licensed chiropractic physician is physically present in the clinic, is monitoring the activities of the supervisee, and is available to intervene, if necessary. (3-28-23)
04. Inactive Retired. The status of a licensee who is over sixty-five (65) years of age, has paid the inactive retired fee and is permanently retired from the practice of chiropractic. The holder of an inactive retired license may not practice chiropractic in Idaho. (3-28-23)
