Ill. Admin. Code tit. 35, § 703.238 - RCRA Standardized Permits for Storage and Treatment Units
A RCRA standardized permit is a special form of permit for the owner or operator of a TSD that engages in either of the following activities:
a) It generates hazardous
waste and then non-thermally treats or stores the hazardous waste on-site in
tanks, containers, or containment buildings; or
b) It receives hazardous waste generated
off-site by a generator under the same ownership as the receiving facility, and
then it stores or non-thermally treats the hazardous waste in containers,
tanks, or containment buildings. The owner or operator of a facility operating
under a RCRA standardized permit is regulated pursuant to Subpart J of this
Part, Subpart G of 35 Ill. Adm. Code 705, and 35 Ill. Adm. Code 727.
