Ill. Admin. Code tit. 71, § 2000.620 - Suspension of Award
Where a written protest against the making of an award is received, award shall not be considered final until the matter is resolved unless the Director of Purchasing determines that:
a) The items or services to be procured are
urgently required to meet the immediate needs of the Agency to avoid impairing
the duty, functioning and responsibility of the Agency; or
b) Delivery or performance will be unduly
delayed by failure to make award promptly due to inability to resolve the
protest.
