Ill. Admin. Code tit. 95, § 121.70 - Proof of Eligibility
Applicant must also show proof of the following:
a) Residency within the State of Illinois for
at least 12 months immediately preceding entry into service.
b) Applicant is still on active duty, is
honorably separated or discharged from service, has been furloughed to the
reserve or has been retired.
c)
Applicant has received the Southwest Asia Service Medal.
