327 IAC 8-2.3-1 - Definitions

Sec. 1.
In addition to the definitions included in 327 IAC 8-2-1, the following definitions apply throughout this rule:
(1) "Ground water system" means any PWS that
uses ground water except for a system that combines all of its ground water
with:
(A) surface water; or
(B) ground water under the direct influence
of surface water;
prior to treatment under Subpart H, including a consecutive system receiving finished ground water.
(2) "Hydrogeologic sensitivity assessment"
means a determination of whether ground water systems obtain water from
hydrogeologically sensitive settings.
