Iowa Admin. Code r. 193-7.2 - [Effective until 8/14/2024] Scope and applicability of the Iowa Rules of Civil Procedure

This chapter applies to contested cases conducted by all boards in the bureau. Except as expressly provided in Iowa Code chapter 17A and these rules, the Iowa Rules of Civil Procedure do not apply to contested case proceedings. However, upon application by a party, the board may permit the use of procedures provided for in the Iowa Rules of Civil Procedure unless doing so would unreasonably complicate the proceedings or impose an undue hardship on a party.
