Iowa Admin. Code r. 567-22.123 - [Effective until 6/19/2024] Acid rain exemptions

(1) New unit exemption. The new unit exemption, as specified in 40 CFR §72.7, except for 40 CFR §72.7(c)(l)(i), is adopted by reference. This exemption applies to new utility units.

(2) Retired unit exemption. The retired unit exemption, as specified in 40 CFR §72.8, is adopted by reference. This exemption applies to any affected unit that is permanently retired.

(3) Industrial utility-unit exemption. The industrial utility-unit exemption, as specified in 40 CFR §72.14, is adopted by reference. This exemption applies to any noncogeneration utility unit.
