Iowa Admin. Code r. 641-40.70 - General requirements
(1) A
licensee shall dispose of licensed material only:
a. By transfer to an authorized recipient as
provided in 40.74(136C) or
641-39.4
(136C), or to the U.S. Department of Energy; or
b. By decay in storage; or
c. By release in effluents within the limits
in 40.72(1)"d"; or
d. As authorized pursuant to 641-
40.71(136C), 641- 40.72(136C), 641- 40.73(136C), 641-40.74(136C), or 641-
40.77(136C).
(2) A
person shall be specifically licensed to receive waste containing licensed
material from other persons for:
a. Treatment
prior to disposal; or
b. Treatment
or disposal by incineration; or
c.
Decay in storage; or
d. Storage
until transferred to a storage or disposal facility authorized to receive the
waste.
