Kan. Admin. Regs. § 1-2-13 - Budgeted position
Budgeted position means a position in the agency budget as approved by the legislature, which shall not be filled until the duties and responsibilities to be assigned to the position are actually decided upon by the employing agency and the position has been allocated to the proper class.
