Kan. Admin. Regs. § 1-23-2 - Program administration

(a) The secretary of administration shall be responsible for overall supervision and for decisions regarding expansion or contraction of the scope of the vanpool program. To assist the secretary in making such policy decisions, a program review committee composed of the secretary of administration, the director of the Kansas energy office, the secretary of the Kansas department of transportation, or their designees, may be convened at the discretion of the chairperson. The chairperson of the committee shall be the secretary of administration or his or her designee. The committee may review instances of mishap or misconduct relating to program operations and, if necessary, recommend remedial action.
(b) For purposes of the vanpool program, ridership participation shall consist of one (1) qualified driver and at least seven (7) passengers, of which at least six (6) must be state employees, selected from applications filed with the central motor pool director to best meet the program goals set out in K.S.A. 1980 Supp. 75-46a02.
(c) The day-to-day operation of the vanpool program shall be the responsibility of the central motor pool.
