Kan. Admin. Regs. § 1-5-22 - Payment for two or more positions

(a) Each employee who is employed in two or more regular, part-time positions shall receive separate pay for the duties performed in each position. Except as provided in subsection (c), the percentage of time worked on all positions shall not exceed 100 percent.
(b) Each employee in multiple regular, part-time positions shall receive benefits commensurate with the total time worked on all regular, part-time positions.
(c) Any classified exempt employee may hold one or more additional unclassified exempt positions teaching or conducting research in a state educational institution without limit on total pay, if the appointing authority in the classified service certifies that the position does not detract from the time for which the employee is being paid as a classified exempt employee.
