Kan. Admin. Regs. § 1-6-30 - Reinstatement
Each employee with permanent status who separates from state service in good standing may for a period of one year from the date of separation apply for, and may be certified as a candidate for, any vacancies open to state employees only, and may be rehired as a reinstatement.
