Kan. Admin. Regs. § 10-20-1 - Definitions
As used in these regulations, the following terms shall have the meanings specified in this regulation:
(a) "Missing person" means any person of any
age whose location is not currently known and who is reported missing by any
individual.
(b) "Missing and
unidentified person system" means the state system maintained by the KBI that
contains information on missing persons and unidentified persons.
(c) "NCIC" means the federal bureau of
investigation's (FBI's) national crime information center.
(d) "Unidentified person" means any
unidentified deceased person, any person of any age who is living and whose
identity cannot be ascertained, any unidentified victim of a catastrophe, or
any human remains.
