Kan. Admin. Regs. § 123-12-103 - Tattoos, body markings, and body piercing

(a) No offender shall place, alter, or remove any tattoo or other body marking on the offender's own body or on the body of another offender. The removal or alteration of any tattoo or body marking shall be performed only by a medically qualified official after written approval has been given by the superintendent.
(b) No offender shall pierce the offender's own body or any body part or that of any other offender.
(c) Each violation of this regulation shall be a class II offense.

This regulation shall be effective on and after April 8, 2005.
