Kan. Admin. Regs. § 30-4-36 - Redetermination of eligibility
(a)
Redetermination. Redetermination shall give each recipient an opportunity to
bring to the attention of the department the recipient's current situation and
to give the department an opportunity to review the eligibility factors in
order to determine the recipient's continuing eligibility for
assistance.
(b) Interview. An
interview shall be required at the time of each redetermination for food
assistance and cash assistance. An interview may be required at the time of
each redetermination for child care assistance if any information provided by
the applicant is incomplete, unclear, or contradictory.
(c) Frequency of redetermination. A
recipient's eligibility for assistance shall be redetermined as specified in
this subsection. Each TANF case shall be reviewed at least once each 12 months.
Each TANF caretaker relative case shall be reviewed at least once each 24
months.
